01 — About

A new farm on an old plain.

Agri Products Europe was founded in 2026 to grow, pack and export produce from Divjakë, Albania to buyers across Europe — beginning with a single crop and a single market, then widening the base year by year.

01

Founding story

The company began with a straightforward observation: Albania has the climate, the soil and the labour to supply European produce markets, but very little of the modern infrastructure that buyers require. Land sits underused while importers look for reliable, traceable supply.

So we started at the other end — with the buyer. Before planting at scale, we secured a contract to export bell peppers to Spain, and let that specification dictate how the farm is built: what we plant, how we irrigate, how we grade, how we ship. Everything since has followed from that first commitment.

We are early. Land is being prepared, infrastructure is being installed, and the first export season is ahead of us. We would rather say that plainly than claim a history we do not have.

02 — Mission

To make Albanian farmland a dependable link in the European food chain — and to build a business that earns its scale one contract at a time.

Buyer-led

Grow to a signed specification, not to hope.

Verifiable

Every lot traceable from parcel to pallet.

Regional

Local employment, local processing, local value.

Patient

Five phases, each funded by the one before it.

03 — The land & region

Divjakë, on the Myzeqe plain

Flat alluvial farmland between the Adriatic coast and the lagoon national park, in Fier County — one of Albania's most productive agricultural belts. Mild winters, long growing seasons and a coastal road network that puts EU markets within a two-day drive.

04 — Our approach

Modern methods, from the first parcel

The team's background is in operations and trade rather than tradition — so the farm is being designed like infrastructure.

Protected cultivation

Greenhouse and open field in parallel

Structures extend the season and stabilise quality; field acreage carries volume.

Water

Drip irrigation with fertigation

Water and nutrients delivered at the root, scheduled against soil moisture readings.

Soil

Testing before planting

Parcel-level analysis sets rotation, amendment and cover-cropping plans from day one.

Data

Records buyers can audit

Inputs, harvest dates and lot numbers logged per parcel and carried onto the pallet.

People

Trained local crews

Year-round roles in the region, with agronomy support brought in from established growers.

Trade

Cold chain as a design constraint

Packing house, pre-cooling and freight planned together, not bolted on after harvest.
